How VA fee rules work
Here is the honest version. VA rules allow only accredited attorneys and claims agents to charge a fee for helping with a claim. They can charge only after the VA has issued a decision on the issue, and only under a written fee agreement that is filed with the VA. Before that first decision, nobody may charge you to prepare or file your claim. The representative also needs a signed VA Form 21-22a from you on file.
We are not accredited yet, so we do not offer representation today and we do not take money for it. Until this service opens, the 100 Percent Playbook is the way to work with us. It is general education, and you or your accredited VSO stay in charge of your claim.

Why can’t you help with my claim today?
VA rules require accreditation to represent veterans on a claim, and fees are allowed only after a VA decision on the issue under a filed fee agreement. We will not offer representation until we meet those rules.
Will you guarantee a result?
No. No one can guarantee a VA rating or outcome, with or without representation.
Where can I get free representation right now?
Accredited Veterans Service Organizations represent veterans for free. The VA has an online search tool to find an accredited representative near you.
